THEMES

Many different themes can be found in all six of the N.W.A. songs listed on this website which include: violence/gang-life, police (brutality, injustice, resentment), explicit lyrics, protest, etc. One main constant theme that can be seen in each song is that it tells a true story of the experiences of African Americans who grew up in South Central L.A. and Compton.
